First Dual Post

I now have a working Gitea deployment complete with runners, can’t remember if I’VE said that or if I’ve had r3r4 blog about it. So, that got me thinking, I’d love to have my own data hosted on my own servers so what if I setup a GitHub pages like setup in my cluster. So I worked with r3r4 throughout today… and damn was it laborious… and we finally made headway and got it done. There was some circling and I had to reel him in and get him out of the circle. I also had to call opus in for a few prompts because haiku just wasn’t up to task.

Over the next however long I can burn the candle at both ends, I’ll be working on making my Gitea deployment the permanent home of these pages. At first I’ll manually dual post while I get the workflow down, then I’ll automate it through Gitea with r3r4. Then finally at some point in the distant future, once I’m comfortable with my infrastructure and confident r3r4 can administer it with my prompts I’ll completely cut github off. I don’t know if that day will actually ever come and it may be awhile until I stop manually dual posting. I’ll probably have r3r4 premiere on github until I pull his post down and cherry pick it over to the gitea branch. Once I get sick and tired of that the automation comes. Once that’s in place the only time I’ll cut github off is if they do something stupid to break my integration.

I also don’t plan on giving my domain away just yet (it may leak somewhere I suppose) but watch these pages. Once I’m somewhat comfy I’ll let the 1 reader of my blog know where it is :D.

To dual posting!
